Basketball Sign-Ups
The window to sign up for Winter Sports 25-26 is now open (Girls Basketball and Boys Basketball). If your child is interested in trying out for basketball, they must complete this Winter Sports: Sign Up Form (students must be logged into their MCS account to complete the form). All middle school students received this sign up form in their Magellan email last week. Please remind your child that the deadline to complete this form is Tuesday, October 7th. Students must also have a completed Athletic Packet on file (with physical and concussion form) by October 7th. Physicals are good for one calendar year.  In order to drive students to practices and games, parents must complete the Driver Agreement. Tryouts
Basketball tryouts are tentatively scheduled for October 27-29. More details will be available soon.

Training Sessions
Magellan is excited to announce basketball training sessions for any 6th–8th grader interested in trying out for basketball this year. These sessions are designed to help athletes sharpen their basketball skills, strengthen their understanding of team play, and build confidence on the court. If your student-athlete is looking to improve their individual game and prepare for the season ahead, this is a great opportunity! A completed current Athletic Packet is required. Register on Infinite Campus School Store for as many sessions as you like – $20 each. Payment is due for all Sept. sessions by Sept. 12 and for all Oct. sessions by Oct. 3rd.
