Our Capital Campaign Goal This Year is $80,000!

As a public charter school, Magellan receives limited government funds for instruction and

NO LOCAL FUNDS FOR LAND OR BUILDING NEEDS.

We rely on the support of our families to bridge that capital budget gap.

We are raising $80,000 to support the following priorities:

Air filtration
Creating a healthy learning environment is foundational to student success, and clean indoor air is a critical – yet often overlooked – part of that equation.

Elevator Enhancements
Reliable, safe, and accessible elevators are essential components of a well-functioning school facility. They support students with disabilities, staff members, visitors, and daily operations such as transporting equipment and supplies. When elevator systems are outdated or underperforming, they can disrupt accessibility, create safety concerns, and hinder the smooth functioning of the school day. Improvements are needed to ensure our elevator meets modern standards and the needs of the school community.

Surfaces
Effective drainage is a critical component of a safe, functional, and resilient school campus. When drainage systems are inadequate, the impacts extend far beyond occasional puddles—they can affect student safety, building integrity, instructional time, and long-term maintenance costs. Improving drainage is an investment in both the physical environment and the overall learning experience.  Last year, the Capital Campaign covered some of the expenses; however, as projects are completed, additional funding is needed to replenish our reserves.

Obsolescence Reserve – $50,000+ annual need
Donations in excess of our 2026 need will be reserved for future building maintenance & repairs.

Admiral’s Club’s Level: $417/month for 5 years = $5,004/year ($25,000 total)
Captain Level: $167/month for 5 years = $2,004/year ($10,000 total)
Mariner Level: $84/month for 5 years = $1,008/year ($5,000 total)
Voyager Level: $42/month for 5 years = $504/year ($2,500 total)
Other options gratefully accepted
